The USES system advantage is its proprietary choke shunt design which renders five methods of energy reduction and conditioning methods to be passive and resonance free. USES can be installed in any AC electrical environment without the negative effects typical of capacitors which distort sine waves, exaggerate harmonics and cause harm to electrical equipment. The USES system can be installed directly on the line side of any VFD, DC Drive, server or control system without causing interference.

How the USES Technology Works
The USES system performs 5 critical operations that work together to produce maximum savings and benefits to industrial facilities. Hard dollar, facility-wide, savings are conservatively estimated at 12-14%. System dependent soft dollar savings include equipment longevity extended to the manufacturer-stated lifespan, improved equipment efficiency (10% increase in motor efficiency), decreased maintenance costs, and reduced downtime.
Magnetic Phase Balancing
Through magnetic field induction, USES constantly Attenuates voltage and current to share energy from higher phase to the lower phase, raising and stabilizing the average RMS voltage.
Energy Conversion
Through the self-healing magnetic chokes, energy above the operational voltage is absorbed, re-constituted, and returned to the customer as usable safe power through phase balancing.
Power Factor Correction
The resonant circuit within the USES unit consists of small three-phase CAPS (1/50th the size of traditional CAPs) and are isolated from the existing electrical system so that harmonics are not amplified.
Harmonic Filtering
Harmonic filtering of non -power currents to reduce the measurement and billing of non-power harmonic currents as kWh consumption and improve power quality.
Power Generation
USES’s proprietary chokes generate voltage and current from each phase per Faraday’s and Lenz’s law that is injected into the adjacent phases as usable power reducing the loads kW demand had kWh consumption.
Installation Guidelines
USES units are not engineered to the loads in a facility; instead, acting as a system, they are sized and installed in specific locations according to a facility’s average demand.
